Lift Him Up!

As Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness even so must the son of nam be lifted up (John 3:14). The serpent on the pole was a means of the people being healed. God said anyone who is bitten when he looketh upon it shall live (Numbers 21:8,9). God made the serpent a means of being healed by his word. So like wise Jesus was a means of us being healed. God said with Jesus stripes we are healed. Again, God made the stripes of Jesus a means of healing by his word. But people don't believe they're healed because they don't see or feel healing. But the Bible says- while we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen. Take the 10 lepwes in Luke 17 for example- Jesus told them to go show themselves unto the priest. That was for him to pronounce them cleansed. So Jesus was calling them cleansed. But they didn't see or feel healing but they went anyway. They believed Jesus words over what they could see and feel. And that's what you have to do believe God's word over what you see and feel. You are healed now. Believe that and claim your healing. With the heart (spirit) man believes and with the mouth confession is made unto it (Romans 10:10). Call those things that be not as though they were as God said. God said "Let the weak say I am strong" well let the sick say I am healed. Whatever your condition Jesus was lifted up for your healing. The blood of Jesus covers everything. Keep speaking your healing and don't give up until you receive your healing. Through faith and patience you obtain (Hebrews 6:12).

Don't Be Moved By What You See

Victory always follows a man that's not moved by what he sees. Take Elisha for instance when the army of Syria had him and his servant surrounded he was not moved by what he saw because he knew that there was more to the situation than what he saw. He didn't have to see he knew. Then he prayed that his servants eyes would be opened and he saw what Elisha knew was there by faith (2kings 6:14-17). There's more to life than what you can see. Take the 10 lepers for instance when Jesus told them "Go show yourselves unto the priest" (so that he could pronounce them cleansed) they had no physical reason to go. They didn't look any different and they didn't feel any different. But they went anyway because they knew it wasn't about what they could see but about what Jesus said. Jesus considered them healed when he said "Go show yourselves unto the priest". There healing was spiritual first, then became physical because they were not moved by what they saw and felt (Luke 17:12-14).

Defeat follows those who are moved by what they see. Take the children of Isreal when the 12 spies came back and 10 told of the giants in the land and they said we be not able. They were moved by what they saw. Only 2 of them said we be able (Num. 13:25-33). And all from that generation failed to enter the Promised Land except the 2 that said we be able, victory still followed them and they entered the Promised Land. And take Peter walking on the water he was fine until he saw the wind and waves and became afraid. He let what he saw move him to fear and was defeated (Matt.14:26-30).

What are you going to put your trust in what you see or what you don't see (what God said). Are you going to let what you see move you to fear or let what you don't see move you to faith. Victory or defeat it's all in what moves you.

Blessings Or Curses You Choose

Do you know that not only God has the power to bless and curse but you do also? What is a blessing or curse? A blessing and a curse are simply-words. That's all they are according to The Bible. Notice in Genesis when The Bible says God blessed he simply sopke good and positive words concerning things (Gen. 1:22,28;9:1). And when he cursed things he spoke bad and negative of things (Gen. 3:14-19). Notice when Jesus cursed the Fig Tree he spoke negatively (Matt. 21:19). And you to have the power to bless and curse.

Look at James chapter 3 The Bible says that you were made in the similitude (like) God. And out of the same mouth comes blessings and curses. Were do they come from? They come out of the mouth. How many times have you said- I can't catch a break or things are going to get a lot worse before they get better or everytime I turn around something happens? Those things are always spoken in a negative context and are curses. Why not speak blessings like- Whatever I do prospers or the blessings of God overtake me . At least those things are scriptural.

You will either live up to the blessings or curses you speak. Even in the Old Testament they knew that. Jacob deceived his own father to have his brother's blessing. To have his father speak words over him. That's how powerful it is. And they both lived up to their blessing. Be careful what you speak over things like- this piece of junk always breaksdown when I'm in a hurry or money always gets away from me. And be very careful what you speak over your children. Never speak things like- that boy is going to end up in jail or the grave or that boy will never be anything. You should never curse your children.

God has set before you life and death, blessings and curses: choose life, so that you and your seed may live (Deu. 30:19). How are you going to choose life? With your words (Pro.18:21).

While We Look Not At The Things Which Are Seen

Too many people have their eyes on things going on in the world. With the economy, terrorism, and health issues (Bird Flu, Swine Flue, all kinds of Cancers). But those problems already have answers to them.

God has his own economic plan for increase and it is set and cannot be broken.
See Luke 6:38 and 2Corinthians 9:6

Read 1Kings 17:9-16
Notice God's system in action-give and it shall be given.... Notice she had to give to the man of God and what she gave was multiplied. And it was done according to the word of the Lord.

Read Luke 5:1-7
Notice Peter gave Jesus the use of his boat. He sowed the use of his boat. They toiled all night and caught nothing but at Jesus word he reaped bountifully. Are you starting to see a pattern? (according to the word of the Lord and at thy word). Notice it's the word that brings increase.

God has his own HomeLand Security
See 2Kings 6:13-17(Ps. 34:7;91:11,12 Isa. 54:17 Luke 10:19)

Notice Ellisha knew that there was more with him than his enemies. God has his own HomeLand Security Agents. But God's agents follow you wherever you go and keep you from all harm. Notice God doesn't even want you to dash your foot against a stone. So according to God's security plan there's noone or nothing that can harm you. That's my idea of security.

God has his own Health Plan
See Ps. 91:10 Ps. 103:3 Ex. 23:25 Deu. 7:15 (Pro. 4:20-22 & Pro.12:18)

He's the God that heals all diseases.
He's the God that keeps all diseases away from you.
He's the God that takes diseases out of the land.
He's the God that has supplied medicine for all your flesh (and his medicine is free and has no side effects)
So if you are sick you can be healed and if you are not sick God can keep you that way.

So take your eyes off the things in the world and put them on the things of God.

Send The Word Out Ahead (Let The Word Clear Your Path)

There's an old spiritual hymn that goes "I'm climbing up the rough side of the mountain". And many people related with that, that you just have to go through life struggling. But that goes against the bible. And that's been the problem too many mountain climbers and not enough mountains movers. Instead of climbing the mountain why not get rid of it. Let's see what God has to say about the mountains in your life. God said every mountain and hill shall be made low (Isa. 40:4). How? The Bible says the hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord (Ps.97:5). And God and his word are one in the same (John 1:1). They melted like wax because his word is like fire (Jer. 23:29). Your mountains melt at God's word. And that rough side shall be made plain (or smooth). How? By the hammer of the word (Jer. 23:29). In Isaiah 41:7 notice God says he that smootheth with the hammer. And the crooked shall be made straight for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. And why did God speak it? So that you would have something to say (Heb 13:6). Notice it says that God spoke so that you would boldly proclaim. What is God doing? He's putting his word in your mouth (Isa. 51:16). And when his word is in your mouth it shall accomplish (Isa. 55:10,11). But that word has to be spoken with faith (Mark 11:23). And faith cometh by hearing the word of God (Rom. 10:17). It's a lot easier to walk on a flat, straight, smooth surface that a high, rough, crooked mountain. God don't want you struggling he wants to give you rest (Matt. 11:28).

So send the word out ahead of you. Let the word clear your path. Wherever you send your words you will follow (James 3:3,4)

Recession Is Not For You (Let that Plaque Pass Over You)

Look at Exodus 8:20-28; 9:3-6; 9:22-26; 10:21-23; 11:4-7; 12:13

Notice there was a dividing line between the Egyptians and the children of Isreal. Just because something comes upon the land does not mean you have to be a part of it. God has put a dividing line between his people and the world. Look at Ex. 11:7 God has put a difference between the church and the world. Not only that but notice the last plague God said put lambs blood on the two side post and over the door as a token so that when He sees it the plague will not(that's worth saying again) will not come upon you. So when people did as He said whoever was in the house was safe. Well the Lamb of Lambs has shed his blood for you so that you are covered wherever you are. Also, that plague found you wherever you were in the field, in the streets, in your business, at home wherever you were. Well if a plague can find you wherever you are so can the Blessing. Look at Deuteronomy 28:1-13 you are not under the curse you are under the Blessing. And just as they could not outrun that curse you can't outrun the Blessing. Now you remember when I said there is a dividing line between the children of God and the word, there is but too many christains have choosen to cross that line and include themselves in with the world. How? By opening thier mouths and speaking contrary to the Word. Anything God wants to do for you or to you you can stop with your mouth. Look at the children of Isreal they were right at the point were God was ready to take them into the promised land but when the 12 spies came back they said the land is just as God said it is but there's giants in the land. Joshua and Caleb said let's go up at once and take the land and the rest said no we are like grasshoppers and none from that generation made it in the Promised Land except Joshua and Caleb they received what God wanted them to and all the others didn't because of a misuse of the mouth. If that's not proof enough look at Zacharius in Luke chapter 1 the angel came to him and said his wife Elizabeth would bring forth a son and he said "Whereby shall I know this"? In other words he did not believe so before he could speak anymore doubt the angel shut his mouth. If he didn't have any power to stop what God wanted why did the angel shut his mouth so he could not speak. You see, the Bible says that blessings and curses come out of the same mouth James 3:9,10. And the more you curse yourself the further you get from the Blessing. So instead of cursing yourself start blessing yourself so that God will fulfill his word Numbers 14:28. God said He would do as they spoke in his ears. He also said his word would not return to him void Isaiah 55:11. So stop crossing the dividing line and stay under the Blessing. And I'm still not finished. Look at Psalms 91:8,10 God said Only with thine eyes shall thou see the reward of the wicked. Only with thine eyes shall thou see how else can you see except with your eyes the reward of the wicked? When you experience what they experience when you suffer what is meant for them. Notice also verse 10 no plaque shall come near your dwelling. NO PLAGUE! Now if that's not enough to convince you that recession is not for the children of God I don't know what will.

What Can You Believe

Read Mark 9:22,23

The man said to Jesus "if you can do anything have compassion and help us". What can God do is never the question. For with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). The question is what can you believe. Notice Jesus took the focus off of what God could do and put the focus on what the man could believe. In other words Jesus was saying you take care of your part my part is already taken care of I have the power. Your part is to believe. Because without faith you cannot receive from that power. What you receive from God is according to your faith. Like in the case of the two blind men that asked Jesus to have mercy on them notice Jesus asked them if they believed he could do it. Notice the focus was on what they believed. Then Jesus topped it off and said, "according to your faith be it unto you (Matt.9:27-29). The power is constant the only thing that changes is peoples faith. Like Peter walking on the water, Jesus said to Peter "Come" and that one word was enough for Peter to walk on the water. But what happened when he saw the wind and the waves he became afraid. The power stayed constant the only thing that changed was Peter's faith. In Mark chapter 5 in the case of Jairus after he got the news his daughter was dead Jesus immediately told him "fear not only believe" (Mark 5:36). The centurion said to Jesus "speak the word only and my servant shall be healed". And Jesus answered him "as thou hast believed so be it done unto you" (Matt. 8:8,13). So instead of trying to figure out what God can do ask yourself is there anything too hard for God (Gen. 18:14 Jer. 32:17,27).

God can do but can you believe.

Don't Let Your Tongue Keep You From What God Promised

Ephesians 1:3 2Peter 1:3-Notice The Bible says that God has given. That's past tense so it's not up to God to give you what the bible says God has already given but, it's up to you to receive what the bible say God has given. And the way you receive is by your tongue. Romans 10:10 With the heart you believe and with the tongue confession is made unto.

Numbers 13 & 14-Notice what kept them out of The Promised Land the wrong use of their tongue. They said they were not able to take the land and they didn't. By the wrong use of your tongue you can keep yourself from receiving what God has given you. Out of that whole multitude of people only 2 out of that generation made it into The Promised Land.
And those were the 2 that used their tongue correctly (Numbers 13:30 & 14:6-10).

Luke 1:7,13,18-20,57-Notice before he could misuse his tongue God had the angel to shut his mouth. Because the misuse of his tongue would have kept him from receiving what God had for him. How many things is your tongue keeping you from receiving that God has given you.

Then what is tha correct use of your tongue? Look at Isaiah 55:11 notice "it shall accomplish". What shall accomplish? The word of God that comes out of your mouth. Notice the word works for you when you speak it.

So use your tongue correctly!!!!

GET OUT OF THE BOAT

Matthew 14:25-31: When are you going to get out of the boat.
The boat represents the natural way of doing things-that's the natural way to travel across water.

Jesus was operating in the supernatural. Peter asked Jesus to bid him to come on the water. Notice Jesus didn't say no Peter because you would drown. No, Jesus told him to come and he did walk on the water. Notice one word from Jesus was all it took for Peter to go from operating in the natural to operating in the supernatural.

His word was all it took then and it's all it takes now. He's just waiting for someone to believe it and act on it. Notice Jesus said "He that believe on me the works that I do shall he do also" John 14:12. Just like Peter walked on the water like Jesus by his word you can cast out devils by his word, you can lay hands on the sick and have them recover by his word. You can do all the things He called for you to do.

But it's not by your ability it's through Jesus ability. It makes a difference when you do something based on your faith in the word. Look at Luke 5:4-7, Jesus told Peter to launch out into the deep and Peter told him I've toiled all night and caught nothing but nevertheless AT THY WORD....
What made the difference? He had Jesus words. And it's the word that does the work. Your part is to have faith in the word and act.

Remember: Philipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus....

Stay Focused

2Corinthians 4:18-God says don't focus on what you can see, focus on what you can't see (in other words you should be focused on the word of God)

Every physical problem already has a spiritual answer in the Word of God. But you can't receive your answer while your focus is on the problem.

What you put your focus on that's what is more real to you.

That's why the Bible says to walk by faith and not by sight. Walking by faith don't mean you ignore what you see it just means you don't let what you see determine your faith in the truthfullness of God's word.

Read Luke 17:12-14. Jesus told them to go show yourselves to the priest.

Back in those days you only show yourself to the priest after you've been cleansed. So, Jesus was calling them healed. That was their answer. They had a problem they could see and the answer they could not see. Yet, they believed the words of Jesus over what they could see and feel. And the answer they could not see changed the problem they could see.

Now let's see what happens when you focus on the problem.

Read Matt.14:25-31-Notice as long as Peter stayed focused on Jesus he was able to walk on the water. But, as soon as he changed his focus he began to sink. When you are spiritually minded there is no limit to what you can do( I can do all things through Christ Jesus) but when you are physically minded you are always limited. What he saw was more real than what Jesus said.

The battle is in your mind. If the devil can get you to think that what you see is more real than what God said the battle is lost. So don't let the devil distract you. Remember no matter what anyone says what God says is true (Romans 3:3,4) . If no one else believes what you believe-let God be true and every man a liar.

Stay Focused!!!!
