Don't Be Moved By What You See

Victory always follows a man that's not moved by what he sees. Take Elisha for instance when the army of Syria had him and his servant surrounded he was not moved by what he saw because he knew that there was more to the situation than what he saw. He didn't have to see he knew. Then he prayed that his servants eyes would be opened and he saw what Elisha knew was there by faith (2kings 6:14-17). There's more to life than what you can see. Take the 10 lepers for instance when Jesus told them "Go show yourselves unto the priest" (so that he could pronounce them cleansed) they had no physical reason to go. They didn't look any different and they didn't feel any different. But they went anyway because they knew it wasn't about what they could see but about what Jesus said. Jesus considered them healed when he said "Go show yourselves unto the priest". There healing was spiritual first, then became physical because they were not moved by what they saw and felt (Luke 17:12-14).

Defeat follows those who are moved by what they see. Take the children of Isreal when the 12 spies came back and 10 told of the giants in the land and they said we be not able. They were moved by what they saw. Only 2 of them said we be able (Num. 13:25-33). And all from that generation failed to enter the Promised Land except the 2 that said we be able, victory still followed them and they entered the Promised Land. And take Peter walking on the water he was fine until he saw the wind and waves and became afraid. He let what he saw move him to fear and was defeated (Matt.14:26-30).

What are you going to put your trust in what you see or what you don't see (what God said). Are you going to let what you see move you to fear or let what you don't see move you to faith. Victory or defeat it's all in what moves you.
