God Is With You

You might be going through a tough time right now, but taken from the life of Isaac God is able to shower you with his goodness even in the middle of your circumstance and have everyone around you amazed.  And that should be normal because we serve a supernatural God that doesn't need circumstances to line up for people to see his goodness, but right where you are right now.  I was reading through Genesis and how Isaac was traveling and God told him don't go down to Egypt because there was a famine in the land and he pitched his tent in the land of the Philistines.  And it says Isaac sowed and reaped an hundredfold in that same year.  And he waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.  He became so great that the people asked him to depart from them.  What's so supernatural about that, because he sowed and reaped an hundredfold with no water.  There was no rain and the Philistines stopped up the wells of his father Abraham after his death.  So, you could say God made a way out of no way.  And after he departed they came to him to make a covenant with him because they saw certainly that the Lord was with him.  They saw that the Lord was with him because they saw the goodness of God manifested in his life.  And God can do the same thing for you, and have people wonder how in the world did that happen.  The goodness of God can manifest in your situation at any given moment.
Even his son Jacob after he had deceived his father Isaac and stole his brother's blessing and his mother told him to flee to her brother's house unless his brother kills him.  And he fled and during his journey he fell asleep one night and had a dream where he saw a ladder reaching from earth to heaven and angels ascending and descending on it and the Lord stood above it and told him that he would be with him wherever he went and Jacob woke up and said, "Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not."  I know sometimes the way might get rough, but God is there.  And he will never leave you nor foresake you.  Put your trust in him and line yourself up with his word.  Think, believe, speak, and act in line with his word and people will say the same about you, "We saw certainly that the Lord was with you." (Taken from Genesis 26 & 27)
And if you want the assurance that God the father is with you I urge you to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  It's not hard all you have to do is believe God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10).  "Dear God I confess that I have sinned, but I receive what Jesus did for me on the cross.  He took my sins that I can be forgiven. And I believe that you raised him from the dead and I confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior."  Amen!

Are You Blessing Or Cursing Yourself

What are you saying about yourself and circumstances, because what you say determines whether you are blessing or cursing yourself. When God blessed Adam and Eve He blessed them saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth." When Jesus cursed the fig tree he said unto it, "No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever." And that's the same way you bless and curse, they both come out of your mouth. Your words determine whether you see blessings or curses. 1Peter 3:10 says, "For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." That is a principle, so you could say if you want to see blessings keep your tongue from speaking curses. Don't tell me what you say is not important, Proverbs 30:32 says, "If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thy hand upon thy mouth." Notice what he's saying, don't speak evil. The good and blessing you want to see speak it. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law and the redeemed are instructed to speak their redemption, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" (Psalm 107:2).

Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you death and life, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." You choose death or life and blessing or cursing by your tongue. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21). Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My bretheren, these things ought not so be (James 3:10). Don't use the power of the tongue to speak death and curses. God instructs you to speak life and blessings, because He knows you will eat the fruit of your lips. That's why God told the people "Let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10). So what are you speaking- Everytime around this time of year I get sick, or I can never hold on to money. Why don't you put the word in your mouth and make your way prosperous, like God told Joshua (Joshua 1:8). Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying On this wise ye shall bless the children of Isreal, saying, unto them... (Numbers 6:23). Likewise, speak to and bless your finances, your body, and your family.

Always Agree With God

God is not a man that He should lie and there are benefits to agreeing with what He says. There is power in agreenemt. When you voice your agreement with God certain things take place.

1. You kill the root- The curse and all the works of the devil are rooted in the spiritual so to get rid of it or change it you have to attack it at the root. If you kill the root then the fruit has to die. And the word of God is a sword (Ephesians 6:17). So when you voice your agreement with the word you are cutting the roots of that evil in your life and at some point it will have to go.

2. You sow seeds- The word of God is seed (Luke 8:11). And your spirit is soil (Mark 4:26-28). And the word also performs as water or rain (Isaiah 55:10). So when you voice your agreement you plant and water seed and you will get a harvest. 1Peter 3:10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." Notice if you want to see good don't speak(sow) evil. Because when you say you sow "The word is night thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach" (Romans 10:8).

3. Faith comes- "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

4. Gives substance to your hope- "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives substance to your hope like an apple seed gives substance to an apple. That's why Jesus said several times "If you have faith as a seed... .

5. Your words accomplish- God said, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). So when your words are in line with his words then they accomplish.

6. You receive his will- When the angel told Mary she was going to have a baby she continued to ask questions. And it was only when she agreed with him that the angel left (Luke 1).

7. It establishes the word in your life- "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" (2Corinthians 13:1). So you establish the word in your life when you voice your agreement with God.

Those are just some of the reasons for agreeing with God. So, be patient for by faith and patience you inherit the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12).
