Why Speak God's Word

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   Why speak the word?

Jesus picks this up in the new testament in Mark chapter 4 in the parable of the sower where he says in verse 3 "Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow." And in verse 14 he tells us what the seed is where he says,  "The sower soweth the word".  And he tells us where the seed is sown in verse 15 where he says,  "Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts", that's the soil.

So, you have seed, you have soil now how about water because every seed needs water.  In Ephesians 5:26 it says,  "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word", it's also the water.

So, each time you speak the word you are operating in a divine principle.  You are planting and watering seed.  Because hearing is planting and watering.   1Corinthians 3:6,7 says, "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." "So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase."  God gives the increase to the seed that is planted and watered not just planted.

Notice, in Joshua 1:8 He said this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, see it's not enough just for the seed to be planted, it also has to be watered.

And as a result of you planting and watering you will make your way prosperous, things are going to start showing up.  Lets establish something, there is one reason why you plant and water a seed because at some point I am suppose to see what I planted.

And God has established that that is how it will always be in Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Jesus keeps teaching this principle in Mark 4:26-28 where he said,  So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.  28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

And according to Jesus the kingdom is inside of God's people, Luke 17:21   Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

And this kingdom is now capable of supplying your needs.  Notice, in Matthew 6:30-33 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Notice, he said take no thought saying, don't sow seeds about your circumstances, seek ye first the kingdom of God; you get a word of God as Matthew 13:19 calls it the word of the kingdom and you sow that.

Because what you sow is what you get more of.  You can't sow/speak the problem and expect the answer to show up.  And sometimes people say they believing God for something and that's good, but what seed have you sown.  People looking for fruit, but haven't sown any seed.

But, it's what you put in you that determines what will come out of you, Jesus said in Luke 6:45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

So, your words are an indication of what's in you, so it shouldn't be a mystery why something showed up when you were looking for something else, just listen to what's coming out of your mouth.

You see this same principle concerning healing in Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

All of those are instructions for you to plant and water the seeds of God's word.  The word life is translated- to revive, to nourish up, and to restore life to.

And the word health in Hebrew in that verse is the word marpe translated- medicine, remedy, healing, and cure.

So, when I plant and water God's word of life and health I can expect to reap life and health.  You can't speak/sow sickness and reap healing.  You may want healing, but you get what you sow not what you want.

You might want roses, but if all you sow is tulip seeds  what are you going to get, tulips.  Everyone understands that in the natural.  Well, it's the same way it works in the spiritual.

In Genesis 17:4 the Lord appeared to Abram and told him, "Thou shalt be a father of many nations" (that's a seed) and in verse 16 God told him that his wife would be "A mother of nations", but in Romans 4:19 it says,  And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb.

So, when God told him that his body was dead and her womb was dead and two dead bodies can't have a child physically.  So, what did God do He changed their names to fit his promise from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a multitude and from Saria-my princess to Sarah-Princess of a nations.

Their names where seeds and by the planting and watering of the seeds the conditions of their bodies changed.  Both of their bodies were dead so where did the life come from, the word or the seed.

Where can your healing come from the word or the seed.  Years prior God told him that his descendants would be like the stars in the sky and the sand of the shores, but nothing happened for years.  Until God got them to plant and water the  seeds.

You see the same thing in Acts 14:7-10  And there they preached the gospel.

8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

Notice, no one prayed for the man, no one laid hands on the man, no one called on the name of the Lord, just him and the word.  While he was hearing Paul preach seed was being planted and watered and the word found good ground and produced.  That can still happen.

* The word comes with the anointing and when the word/seed comes in contact with your spirit/soil the anointing in it is released.  And when the anointing is released it will remove the burden and destroy the yoke.

Example: the woman with the issue of blood, when she heard about Jesus she came in the press behind and touched his garment.  And when she did power flowed out of him and she was healed.

Well, who was Jesus?  He was the flesh and blood anointed word of God.  And long before then God had established in Malichi 4:2, that the Sun of righteousness(Jesus) shall arise with healing in his wings(referring to his garment).

So, what she did with the flesh and blood word you can do with the word.  That's why Paul says in Romans 10:6-8  But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

You know somebody might say, "If only Jesus was here."  Jesus don't have to come back for somebody to receive healing, the word is nigh thee (in your mouth first then in your heart).

Jesus is not coming back for someone to touch his garment, but you can plant that word in your heart.  And the word will do the same as the flesh and blood word, release the anointing.

God has established once again where healing is, in the word.  John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  So, God and his word are one.

Well, God is Jehovah-Rapha The Lord our healer, and what does He heal with (He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from there destructions Psalm 107:20).

So, when the word on healing is in your mouth-medicine is in your mouth, healing is in your mouth, your answer is in your mouth.  And if you keep it in your mouth it will get in your heart and produce fruit after it's kind.

This is a golden nugget:  The word at work in your heart will defeat any sickness at work in your flesh.

Notice, in Proverbs 4 all that is instructions for us to follow because He has already made the provision.  All that is a prescription for our healing, it's up to us to follow it.

Get this, the word is seed and seed is not for God to do something.  Seed is for you to receive something.  Just by you having a seed of something is proof that God has already done something because you can't have a seed unless the fruit was first.

And not only that, but the fruit or the thing is in the seed.  And the only way to get out of a seed what is in it is to plant and water it.

In Isaiah 55:10 it says, "God gives seed to the sower", which let's me know he's not the sower.  He supplies the seed, but it's mankind that has to sow it.  God is not responsible for seed not sown or word not spoken.  Man has to do his part.

How did all this come about, because in the beginning when God made man in Genesis 1:28 it says, And God blessed them saying "Be fruitful".  That word fruitful mean - to bring forth.

If you notice in Proverbs 4:23 God instructs us to guard our heart with all diligence.  Because, He knows how man is made if some word get in your heart and you continue to water it that word will be seen in your life.

If what's in your heart gets in your mouth it will come forth  into your life, that's what Jesus said in Luke 6:45.

*Closing point-Adam in the garden, God told him not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because if he did he would die.

But, he choose to do his own thing, he rejected God's knowledge for his own and brought death upon all of mankind.

Another golden nugget.  Proverbs 15:4 says, A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.  That word wholesome is the same word marpe in Proverbs 4:22 referring to God's word.  So, everytime you choose to speak your own words you are choosing the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and each time you choose to speak God's word you are choosing the tree of life.

And Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof.  You will eat the fruit of whatever tree you choose.  *We didn't have a choice in the garden, but we do now.

My last word to leave with you, remember, "It's not what you want it's what you sow that counts."

Knowledge 2

Hosoa 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

Isa. 5:13- Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge

Now here's the upside

Proverbs 11:9- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

John 8:32- And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Notice, notice how God equates bondage or freedom even destruction with knowledge.  Which lets me know that it's not the situations of life that defeats you it's your lack of knowledge.

The kind of knowledge you have is important because it will determine how you live (Rom. 8:5-8).  5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Your knowledge will determine whether you live a carnal life or a spiritual life.

But, first understand where your knowledge is coming from and what it is based on.  In Genesis 3 we see the fall of man, the fall of man includes a fall in knowledge (Genesis 3:6-11).

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.  7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.  8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.  9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.  11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Notice, in verse 11 God asked Adam, "who told thee that thou wast naked?"  That seems like a strange question to ask somebody because he doesn't need anyone to tell him, he can see it.

But, notice in verse 7 after they ate of that fruit it says, "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked".  So, obviously they were informed on a spiritual level because their physical eyes were already opened because they saw the tree.

And God told Adam what would happen if he did eat from that tree.  They rejected God's knowledge for their own sense knowledge.  Verse 6 When she saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes notice it's all based on the senses.  But, the scripture says, For we walk by faith and not by sight(senses)  well faith is of the spirit.

So, man fell from being informed on a spiritual level by God to being informed by his senses.  But, if you are going to walk by faith you are going to have to be informed on a spiritual level.  And that's where God wants to restore man to.

The level of revelation and not just information.  What's the difference information comes through the senses and revelation comes through the spirit.  Proverbs 20:27 says,  The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

1Corinthians 2:9,10 says, 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

So, if you are going to walk in the things of God they have to be revealed to you.  Look at verse 14 God tells us clearly, 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  Natural knowledge doesn't receive the things of God that's why the mind has to be renewed.  That's what Romans 8 is talking about being spiritually minded.

What is revelation, to reveal means - to pull the cover off.  God shows you a spiritual truth.  Revelation is not showing you something that God is going to do, it shows you what is done.  Because to pull the cover off, something has to be there.

That's what 2 Corinthians 4:18 is talking about when it says, While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  You can't look at something if it's not there, so it's something that is presently in the spirit.  And what is in the spirit is just as real if not more real than your present natural circumstance.

How do I know that 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:  27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;  28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Notice God's principle things which are not (manifested) bring to nought things that are (manifested).  That's those things in 2 Corinthians 4:18 those  things not seen.  So, which one is more real.

Notice, in Romans 4:17 it says,   (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.   Talking about Abraham in Genesis 17:4,5.

When God told him, "No longer shall thy name be called Abram, but Abraham for a father of many nations have I made thee, God was not informing him of the flesh because Romans 4:19 says his body was dead, so He was not informing him of this natuaral/physical level.

He was informing him on the level of the spiritual.  God wants to inform man of a higher level than the flesh that's were he fell to.  So likewise, when the scripture says, "By whose stripes ye were healed", He's not informing you of the level of the flesh.

We (mankind) only see healing as once the pain is gone and everything is cleared up now I'm healed.  But, God sees it on a higher level, notice when God told Abraham-  "For a father of many nations have I made thee" his body was dead.

So, for God to say, "I have made thee a father of many nations" would have to include I've done something about your body because a person with a dead body can not be a father of many nations physically.

Notice, even though God did something (spiritually) it had no effect on him (physically).  It had no effect on him physically until Abraham put it in his mouth, because Abraham means-father of a great multitude.

See, even though God does something in the spirit for it to legally come into the earth realm it has to come through a man.  Because, He gave man dominiom, He said-"Let them have dominion".

And He can't take it back Psalm 89:34- My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.  And Psalm 115:16 says, The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

And sometimes people think that just because it's in The Bible it's just going to happen.  No, the things God has done in the spirit has to be loosed, called for, authorized.

Look at what Jesus told Peter in the amplified -Amplified Bible

I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.”

Notice, what's bound in heaven has no effect in the earth until someone in the earth with the authority binds it in the earth and what's loosed in heaven has no effect in the earth until someone in the earth with the authority looses it in the earth.

So, one of the main things a child of God needs to know is the authority God has invested in his or her mouth.  If you don't know you have authority then you'll just talk any old way.  But, a person with authority can't afford to talk any old way because when a person with authority speaks, things go into action in the natural and in the spirit.

And man needs to know how to co-operate with God.  And one of the main ways you co-operate with God is to speak in agreement with him.  Amos 3:3-Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

And in the scriptures agreement in speech with God is called confession-which means to say the same thing.  That's why the scripture talks about in Romans 10:10 with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Now, don't think that word salvation is just referring to being born again, no.  That word salvation in greek is the word soteria or sozo which means healing, deliverance, protection, wholeness.  So, you are going to have to know how to talk right.

Because, your talk will determine your walk-Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

And it's important that you agree with God because He has already declared in Romans 3:3,4-For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

So, if he's saying one thing and you are saying something else then you are not speaking the truth.  A liar in that scripture mean to utter an untruth.  You might be speaking fact, but not truth.

Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified.  It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses.  So, facts are dependant on the senses and limited to the senses.

Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter, you may not be able to detect the truth with you senses, but it's still truth.  We have to get out of judging things simply by the flesh, because there's more than just the flesh.

And if you are only flesh minded then you are going to be limited.  And those in the flesh can not please God.  In  John 17:17  Jesus said, God's word is truth so we have a way of distinquishing between fact and truth.

And Jesus said in John 8:31,32-Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

So, you can't walk with God with just natural knowledge , you're going to have to come up.

Another reason why God's needs you to come up in knowledge is because of What He said back in Genesis.

Genesis 1:26-28

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Notice, God blessed them saying, "Be fruitful", fruitful means to bring forth.  He's not just talking about having babies because man is spirit and flesh.   Man (spirit man) is capable of bringing forth things out of his spirit.

Jesus taught this principle in Luke 6:45- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

What is your treasure, whatever has been deposited in you. Whatever knowledge you allowed to be deposited in you that's your treasure and if what's in your heart gets in your mouth it will come forth into your life.

And you see that in Mark 5 with the woman with the issue of blood.

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Notice,  she heard about Jesus so she got some knowledge and the knowledge she allowed to be deposited when it got in her mouth she brought it forth into her life, how, for she said...  .  And when she said she brought that forth.

Notice, Jesus turned to see her that had done this thing.  What thing did she do she brought what was on the inside to the outside.  But, notice it all started with knowledge.

By your knowledge you will either be held captive or set free.  Let God inform you on a higher level so that you can live on a higher level.

God Has Changed Your Diagnosis

What do I mean God has changed your diagnosis?  In Genesis 17:4,5 God told Abraham that He had made him a father of many nations, but in Romans 4:19 the scripture says that his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead.  Now, we know you can't physically be a father of many nations when you have a dead body and your wife's womb is dead.  Despite that God said He had made him a father of many nations which means that God had to have done something about his and her bodies.  Now, here's what you need to understand, God did not physically make him a father of many nations, but that's what he was in the spirit.  Don't make the mistake of thinking of the spirit realm as less real than the physical realm.  The spirit realm was first and the physical realm came out of the spirit realm.  So, without the spirit realm there would be no physical realm.  Now, when God does something in the spirit it has the ability to be manifested physically.  Take God himself for example, John 4:24 says that God is a spirit and yet 1 Timothy 3:16 says that God(who is spirit) was manifested in the flesh(physical).  Notice, what the word calls Jesus in John 1:14 the word(spirit) made flesh(physical).

Notice, even though God did something in the spirit it had no affect on him nor his wife physically because his body was still dead and her womb was still dead.  Because when God does something for you in the spirit it's up to you to receive it by faith.  But, what people do a lot of times is wait for God to do it physically.  They wait until their senses can detect something before they believe God has done something.  Notice, they had nothing in the natural to tell them that God had done something.  That's why when it's by faith you don't look to your body to tell you if God has done something but, the word.  The word tells you what God has done not your body.  Your body can tell you when you have received something not if God has done something.  Notice, in Romans 4:19 it says that Abraham did not consider the deadness of his body nor the deadness of Sarah's womb.  He didn't put his focus on this physical realm.  That's  what the word says in 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  Notice, in verse 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen so even though it's not seen(spiritual) he still calls it a thing which means it exists.

Notice, what God did He changed their names to fit what He promised for Abraham means-father of a multitude and Sarah means-Princess of nations.  It's very important that you line your words with God's word even when things don't look like it.  Romans 4:17 speaks of God calls things that be not as though they were.  God call things that are not(manifested) as though they were(manifested).  And that's what He is having them to do because physically they were not that.  Just like in Joel 3:10 the scripture says, Let the weak say I am strong.  Notice, God knows you may be weak physically, but He says don't speak that say I am strong.  Well, the scripture says that the Lord is our strength and we know there is no weakness in God.  Notice, what God is doing trying to get people to stop speaking natural facts and start speaking spiritual truth.  Because, God works with your words so that makes your words very important.  In Numbers 14:1-4 when the people murmured against Moses and Aaron notice God's response, He told the people that as you have spoken in my ears so will I do unto you.  In Titus 1:3 it says that God manifests his word through preaching.  That word preaching means to proclaim or speak out.  Well, that's in line with what He says in Isaiah 57:19, I create the fruit of the lips.  And in Proverbs 18:21 it says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  So, your words are very important in receiving from God.

In 1 Corinthians 1:28 it says that God hath chosen to use things which are not to bring to nought(nothing) things that are.  God uses things which are not(manifested) that's spiritual things to bring to nothing things that are (manifested)that's physical things.  God uses spiritual things to get rid of physical things by your words.  Remember Abraham and Sarah they had to speak in line with what God said.  Remember Joel 3:10 they were told to speak in line with what the word says.  And it's important that you speak in line with what the word says and not present circumstances.  God used "A father of many nations have I made thee" to get rid of the deadness in his body by his words.  God used what the word says that God is our strength to get rid of weakness by their words.  Because, in Isaiah 55:11 God says that his word shall not return to him void(without producing), but shall accomplish that which He pleases.  His word returns to him by you speaking it and He tells you in Hebrews 10:23 to hold fast to your confession of faith.  That word confession means to say the same thing so you are to hold fast to saying the same thing as God in faith because God is faithful.  Hold fast to your confession that with his stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5).   Hold fast to your confession of faith that himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses (Matt. 8:17).  Hold fast to your confession of faith that by his stripes I was healed (1 Peter 2:24).  Hold fast to your confession of faith that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).  That is done in the spirit right now.  And God will use those things to get rid of your condition by your words.  I am a first hand witness, when sickness attacked my body I held fast to my confession of faith and in a matter of time God manifested his word, He used what the word says about my healing to bring to nought what was going on in my body and I am still free all thanks be to God.

It is not God's will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9).  And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  It's very easy just pray:  Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20).  He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10).  I thank you for saving me, Amen

Healing From Your Spirit To Your Flesh

In dealing with healing it's easy to get focused on what's happening in the body, but that's actually the opposite of what The Bible teaches.  Because, actually it's what's going on in your spirit that's most important.  Because, The Bible teaches that you prosper outside according to how you prosper inside. Notice, in 3John 2 it says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.  Man is spirit, soul, and body.  You are spirit and you have a soul(inside of your spirit) and you live in a body.

Notice, what Jesus was known for saying, "According to your faith so be it unto you", "As thou hast believed so be it done unto you" or "Your faith has made you whole".  All of those instances referred to healing in the body, but faith is an operation of the inside, the spirit.  As they prospered inside(spirit) they prospered outside(body).  God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Paul says in Romans 10:8, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.  First, the word is in your mouth and that word will get in your heart(spirit).

Notice, how God says you make your way prosperous and have good success by the word you keep in your mouth, you do it from the inside out.  Well, Proverbs 4:20-23 says, 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.  That word health is translated medicine, remedy, healing, and cure.  Notice, it says to keep the word in the midst of your heart(inside) and those words can be medicine to your flesh(outside).

Take Abraham and Sarah for example God told Abraham that him and his wife would have a son, but his body was dead and her womb was dead.  So, God changed their names from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a multitude and from Sarai-my princess to Sarah-princess of the multitude.  God had them to do the Proverbs 4:20-23 process which works from the inside out.  They had to speak the word in and then speak the word out. Jesus said it this way,  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.  And those are the words that are medicine(healing) to your flesh that work from the inside out.
