Let The Prince Of Peace Come In

The Prince of Peace wants to come in and give you peace, he wants to calm every fear and heal every hurt.  And he has a system for doing exactly that.  His word is the means of bringing you peace.  James 1:21 says, "To receive with meekness the engrafted word, which has the power to save your soul."  The engrafted word, which has the idea that you are going to have to put the word on the inside of you.  The word of God is the sword of the spirit and with it you cut the roots which in turn will kill the fruit  (fear, worry, anxiety, hurt).  And the word is not only the sword of the spirit, but it is also seed.  So by planting the word in you then you start a new root system which in turn produces different fruit (peace, joy, love).  The weapons of our warefare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2Corinthians 10:4,5).  One of those weapons is the word of God, for it is quick(alive) and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).  The word is anointed and when that word gets on the inside of you then the anointing will remove the burden and destroy the yoke (Isaiah 10:27).

Paul in Romans 10:8 says, "The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:  that is the word of faith which we preach."  That's how you get it on the inside of you, by your mouth.  Some people don't know the effect words have on them, but Proverbs 21:23 says, "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles."  And what word is better to keep your soul from troubles than the word of God.  It has the ability to bring every thought to the obedience of Christ(the anointed one).  The anointing is the burden removing, yoke destroying power of God.  Notice 2Corinthians 10:4,5 shows the progression, first the thought, then the fear or worry, then the imagination, then the stronghold.  A stronghold is when something is so fixed in your mind and it has just that on you a stronghold.  But thank God there's something stronger, the anointing.  And the anointing goes to the root and cuts it off.  And once the roots are cut then the fruit have to die.  Jesus is the word made flesh (John 1:14).  God and his word are one (John 1:1).  So when you let the word in then you let them in and there's nothing to hard for the Lord.  So no matter how fearful, worried, or hurt you may be let the Prince of Peace come in.

That Problem Must Go

You might be going through a tough time right now, but let me just tell you that problem can't stand against your answer. Your answer is found in the word of God. What is the word of God, it's God speaking to you. It's God informing you of what He has spoken concerning your problem, that's your answer. Understand this, God has already spoken your answer not your problem. And there's no problem that can stand against the word of God. Your answer is much more powerful than your problem. Notice Romans 8:2 says, "For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Notice the law of life makes you free from the law of death. What is death, it's the absence of life. Do you remember in Ezekiel 37 when he said the hand of the Lord carried him out in the spirit of the Lord and set him down in the midst of the valley of dry bones and God asked him, "Son of man can these bones live". Notice what God said to him, "Prophesy unpon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord". Notice what God was doing, having him speak life into those dead bones because He said in Johnn 6:63, that his word is life. Don't let dead situations hang around you without speaking life into them. God has already told you that death and life are in the power of the tongue. So speak life into that dead situation and the life of the word will cause that situation to change. Speak the word from your heart not just out of your head. Because it's a natural process, when the word is in your heart it will come out of your mouth and that's when things change (Matthew 12:34,35).

The Blood

The
blood of Jesus has made his people victorious in life. You are not just some victim of circumstances. You have something to say about the circumstances in your life. By the blood of Jesus you can reign in life by the abundance of grace that came by Jesus Christ. By the blood of Jesus we have been made kings and priests. So, according to Deuteronomy 21:5 at the word of the priest every controversy shall be settled. Which means you may be in a unfavorable situation, but you don't have to let it dictate to you what will be. But, you have to be careful not to let your words just agree with the situations in life, but line your words with God's and establish his word in your life. The word also says by the blood of Jesus we were raised and made to sit with Jesus in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 2:6). Which means just as God raised him up and put all things under his feet they are also under us through Jesus (Ephesians 1:22). God put you in a position of authority and he wants you to use it. And you use that authority by the words of your mouth. That's why you line your words with God's word and not the circumstances because you are the priest with the authority of Jesus. And as a priest you have been authorized to bless in the name of the Lord (Deuteronomy 21:5). So, if you are in a tight situation speak words of life and speak blessings and not curses. In 1Peter 3:10 it says, if you want to see good keep your mouth from speaking evil. That's why you don't just line your words up with the circumstances, but with the word of God because that is what you desire to see. The blood of Jesus has put you over the circumstances of life so don't let them rule you exercise your authority in the name of Jesus.

Medicine Is In Your Mouth

One of the most important things people overlook in dealing with sickness is what they speak out of their mouth.  You can't just speak anything because your words have an effect on your body.  In the book of James he says, if you offend not in word, you are able to bridle your whole body.  He also goes on to say your tongue is like the rudder of a ship, so if you want to go from sickness to healing then you are going to have to set your tongue to healing and not sickness.  In 1Peter 3:10 he says, if you want to see good keep your tongue from evil.  That's a principle so you could also say, if you want to see healing keep your tongue from sickness.  And the best way to do that is to put God's word in your mouth concerning your healing.  Because Proverbs 4:22 says, God's word is health(medicine) to all your flesh. God's word in your mouth is medicine to all your flesh.
Now somebody might be saying prove that with the word, remember Abraham and his wife Sarah the scripture says, he was old and his body was dead(not functioning in a manner to have a son) and his wife Sarah was barren, but God said they would have a son together and that Abraham's seed would be as numerous as the stars in the sky.  How did God change their bodies to carry out what He spoke, He changed their names.  He gave them something to say that was in line with what He spoke.  Abraham means-Father of a multitude and Sarah means-Princess of the multitude.  Notice what Psalm 103:5 says, He satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.  Notice that scripture doesn't say He satisfies you.  He gives you something to say to change your body.
Somebody may be saying, yes, but I need a miracle, well in Luke 1 the angel came to Mary, a virgin, and told her she was going to have a son and they talked for a little while, but notice that angel didn't depart until Mary spoke in line with what he said, "Be it unto me according to thy word". It wasn't until Mary spoke that the miracle took place.  Now, you can't deny that the word has a lot to say about your words having an effect on your body.  Especially God's word and some say they don't believe in speaking God's word when the Bible says, it is powerful and has the power to save.  That word save in the greek also means heal.  That's why the word is medicine, because there's healing power in the word of God.  So, I encourage you to see what the word has to say about your healing like-"By whose stripes ye were healed" 1Peter 2:24, or "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law" Galatians 3:13, or Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses (you have to make it personal).  And put your hope and faith in what  God says and don't give up it is going to take time.  But, you have to start somewhere.

The Unseen Force Of Faith

The tittle may sound a little strange, but that's how I want you to view faith.  Not just something cute that you keep in your heart, but a force.  A force is defined as- Capacity to do work or cause physical change; strength; power.  I like that, cause physical change.  Let me tell you where I got the tittle, I was watching television one day and I happened to come upon a compass.  So, I picked it up and started to move around the room with it and as I moved that compass moved.  And the Holy Spirit quickened my mind, there is a force in the earth called a magnetic field.  That force is unseen, but it causes something to happen in the seen and that's how faith is.  An unseen force causes that compass to move.  That gave me greater understanding of what Jesus said, "Because of your unbelief:  for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Let's break this scripture down, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed", now some people say the size of a mustard seed, I don't have a problem with that, but let's look at something else about a seed, if it's not released out of the ground it will not produce anything in the earth.  Notice Jesus said, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say" that's how you release it.  Jesus said it this way, "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh".  It's the faith that's released that moves mountains and causes physical change.
Now let's go a little deeper, your faith should be based on the word of God.  Paul calls it the word of faith. That means you could say, If ye have the word of God as a mustard seed... . The word of God is designed to change things.  The word of God is the original force of all forces.  What you see was made of things you can't see, the word.  Notice things that are unseen caused things that are seen to change.  And we are made in God's image and likeness.  We are a spirit just as God is a spirit.  So, if we learn how to operate from our spirit we can cause things to change in the natural.  That's what Jesus demonstrated over and over again.  He spoke to the wind and sea and his words of faith calmed the storm.  He spoke to a tree and it dried up from the roots and then he said to his disciples that if they had faith they could do the same thing, change things in the physical by operating out of their spirit and so can we.  That's why one of the worst things a child of God can do is to wait for things to change and get better.  No, take the word of God and make things get better.  God said, his word would not return to him void, but accomplish that which He pleases.  God has honored us to be able to release that force on our behalf.  So, once again that force is released in the earth now by us.

Amazing Grace

God's grace is amazing. All that Jesus did through his death, burial, and resurrection was for your benefit. All that he did was for you to have access to the grace of God. God has extended his grace to you and it's up to you to receive it by faith. Romans 5:1,2 says we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ and by him also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand. It's in your hands to receive the grace of God by faith. Romans 4:16 says, "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace", you see God has already provided you with his grace, but you can only access it by faith. God has already provided all your needs. He has already "given you all things that pertain unto life and godliness" (2Peter 1:3). God has already "blessed you with all spiritual blessings" (Ephesians 1:3). God has already "delivered you from the kingdom of darkness" (Colossians 1). Notice all of those things are in the past tense. Things may not appear to be that way, but God knows what was accomplished through our Lord Jesus and we need to know. Because the more knowledge you have of God's grace the more it is multiplied to you (2Peter 1:2).

Just as people have a physical bank account, you have a spiritual account. And the moment you became a member of the house of God(Ephesians 2:19) all of God's grace was put into your account, The scripture says, all things are yours and you are Christ's and Christ is God's (1Corinthians 3:21-23). Remember in the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15 when the prodigal son returned and the father had a party for him and the other son came and heard the noise and asked what was happening and they told him that his brother has come home and his father came out and asked him to come in and he answered his father all these years I have served thee and you would not even give me a kid that I might have a party with my friends and the father answered, "Son thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." Notice the father already considered it his, but as long as he waited for the father to give him what was already his he went without. And a lot of times people are waiting for God to give what He already said is theirs.

Do you remember Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). And on the cross Jesus himself said, "It is finished" before he died. So the abundant life is finished, you might not see it present, but it is finished. Now you have to receive it by faith. That's why we have to walk by faith and not by sight (2Corinthian 5:7). As with any other account you get a statement of what's in your account and that's what the Bible does, it tells you what is in your account. All the finished work of Jesus is in your account -healing (1Peter 2:24), deliverance (Colossians 1:13), all of your needs (2Peter 1:3). Now you have to learn how to withdraw what is in it. You withdraw from your spiritual account by faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1), in other words faith gives physical substance to spiritual things. With your heart you believe and with the mouth confession is made unto it (Romans 10:10). In 2Corinthians 4:13 it says, when you have the spirit of faith you will speak what you believe. When you have faith and speak then you release the substance of it for it to come into this natural physical world. We access God's grace by faith.

Put The Word On It

Sometimes as you go through life you find yourself in times of trouble and you try everything you know to do, but let me make a suggestion, put the word on it.  In Romans 10:6-8 Paul says, "But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is the word of faith which we preach." In other words you don't have to call Jesus back from the dead, but put the word on it.  Put the word on that sickness and the word will do the job. In Proverbs 4:20-22 the scripture says to attend to his word, keep it in your eyes and ears, and keep it in the midst of your heart for it is life to those that find them and health to all their flesh.  The word of God has power in it and when you put it in your heart(spirit) it releases the power that's in it.  Like, for example when you feed your body, when the food enters into you the vitamins are extracted and distributed throughout your body.  Well, when you feed your spirit the same things happens, the word of God is anointed and when it enters your spirit the anointing is released into your body.  And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).
Put the word on your problem.  In Proverbs 12:6 it says, "The mouth of the upright will deliver them."  Your mouth will deliver you if the word of God is in it.  It's the word of God that will accomplish (Isaiah 55:11).  In time of depression put the word on it for "A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth" (Proverbs 15:23).  In times of worry put the word on it for "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles" (Proverbs 21:23).  As you can see the word will not only effect your circumstances, but it will effect you mentally, physically, and spiritually. If you want your situation to turn for the better you are going to have to put the right words in your mouth.  In James 3:4,5 he compares your tongue to the rudder of a ship, if you want to change where you are heading then you have to turn the rudder and if you want to change that situation you are going to have to put the right words in your mouth.  God's word is quick(alive) and powerful (Hebrews 4:12).  No matter how fierce the storms of life may be the word of God in your mouth spoken out of a heart of belief will change it (Mark 11:23).

The Rod Is In Your Mouth

God gave Moses an instrument through which He would do great signs and wonders, a rod.  It was God's will to deliver the children of Isreal and his pleasure to show his power on their behalf.  And it's his pleasure to show his power on your behalf.  With the rod in Moses hand God demonstrated his power to bring his will to pass.  But, notice Moses always said what would be done first.  He would speak first then God would demonstrate his power.  So, Moses words was an important role in seeing God's power manifested.  And your words are important in seeing God's power manifested.  I believe God is taking us to where we see his power manifested as we speak in line with his will.  Notice the first time the people cried to Moses for water in Exodus 17 God told him to smite the rock with his rod and it would give forth water.  But, in Numbers 20 when the people cried for water God told Moses to speak to the rock and it would give forth water.  God was teaching them to use their words.  In Exodus 17:11,12 when the children of Isreal was in battle and Moses held up the rod the children of Isreal prevailed and when his hand was lowered the enemy would prevail, so they held Moses arms up so that they would prevail.  And yet, in Joshua 10 when the children of Isreal were in battle for them to prevail Joshua spoke.  He commanded the sun and moon to be still and they obeyed.  God demonstrated his power as Joshua spoke for God's will to be done.
Notice God is taking man from a rod in the hand to a rod in the mouth.  In Isaiah 11:1 "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse." And what rod is that, Jesus(the word made flesh).  And what is he going to do, "And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth."  Notice the rod is no longer in the hand, but it's in the mouth.  When Jesus came notice what he said in John 14:10, he spoke the words of his father and the father in him did the work.  Notice he spoke the words and the father in him did the work.  He spoke the words for people to be healed and the father did the works.  He spoke for demons to be casted out of people and the father did the work.  He called for the storm to cease and the father did the work.  He spoke and the father did the work.  His mouth was the instrument through which God demonstrated his power.
Somebody might say well that was Jesus, but look at Acts 3 where there was a lame man at the gate of the temple.  He asked Peter and John for alms(money) and notice what Peter did. He said, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk."  And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.  And he leaped up and walked into the temple praising God.  And notice Peter's answer to the people, "The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers hath glorified his son Jesus." Notice God demonstrated his power because Peter used his mouth(rod) for God's will to be done.  Well, didn't Jesus tell them in Matthew 10:8 to heal the sick, to cleanse the lepers, to cast out demons, and to raise the dead.  How were they going to do those things?  The same way he did them, by the rod in his mouth, with their words.  They were to speak and God would do the work.  They would call for the will of God to be done and He would use his power.  What are you going through right now, use your rod and watch God demonstrate his power.

God Will Do It Again

I know at times things can seem dark and the mountains of life can seem to be so great, but light shines best in darkness and God is so much greater than that mountain.  Like all throughout the scriptures when people where in their worst situations they knew what to do, go find the man of God and let's see what God has to say about this situation.  Like in 2Kings 4:1-7 this widow had a creditor at her door demanding payment or else he was going to take her two sons as payment, now that's a rough situation.  But, notice what she did she went to the man of God for help.  And the man of God with a word from God told her to go borrow vessels from her neighbors and don't just borrow a few, but as many as you can get and God would fill them with the oil she said had in her house.  And she did go borrow vessels from her neighbors and began to pour out the oil and the little oil she had God miraculously multiplied to fill all those vessels.  Notice God didn't tell her to put her two sons to work and let them do something.  No, because that would have made it her responsibility, but notice who God put the responsibility on himself.  I love that it was not her responsibility to get herself out of debt, but God put it on himself.  Now, she had a job to do (borrow the vessels), but God was the source of her getting out of debt. And it didn't take him 3 or 4 weeks to do it, but hours.
How about the widow in 1Kings 17 there was a great famine in the land and God sent Elijah to a widow that God said He had commanded her to sustain him.  And yet when he came to her and asked for a little water and a little cake she replied all I have left is enough for me and my son and we are going to eat it and die.  But, God has already said He commanded her to sustain him.  Elijah had to tell her "Fear not; go and do as thou hast said:  but make of me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after that make for thee and thy son.  For thus saith the Lord God of Isreal, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth."  And she did according to the saying of Elijah:  and she, and he, and her house did eat many days.  What was the key issue in her situation, the word of God.  What's the key issue in your situation, the word of God.  What God says is always the key issue.
Like in 2Kings 6 there was a great famine in the land and people were eating their babies and buying dove dung to eat and the suffering was great.  The king finally wised up and decided to go see Elisha the man of God to get a word from God.  And Elisha said, "Hear ye the word of the Lord; thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time, shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measure of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria."  And a lord on whose arm the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, "Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?"  And Elisha said "Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shall not eat thereof."  Make sure you don't speak againt God's word.  Make what God says about your situation what you say about your situation.  So what happened, there was 4 lepers at the gate of Samaria that decided to go into the enemies camp and as they went the Lord made them hear the sound of a great army and they fled and left all their goods and when the lepers came and saw that they had fled and left all their goods they went and told the rest of the people and they came and things turned out just as God said.  And what happened to the man that spoke against the word of God, he got trampled by the people and was killed.  Just as the man of God said he saw it, but he didn't partake of it.
I can't help but notice in each situation that God toke it upon himself to take care of it.  So, what are you worried about it's not your load to carry.  Put the weight on God's shoulders they're a lot stronger than yours.  Doesn't He tell you in 1Peter 5:7 to cast your cares on him because he cares for you.  Keep your focus on the word of God and not your situation.  Like, Peter walking on the water in Matthew 14 as long as his focus was on Jesus(the word) he was fine, but the moment he made his situation his focus he became afraid and began to sink.  The word is always the key factor in any situation including yours.

God Is With You

You might be going through a tough time right now, but taken from the life of Isaac God is able to shower you with his goodness even in the middle of your circumstance and have everyone around you amazed.  And that should be normal because we serve a supernatural God that doesn't need circumstances to line up for people to see his goodness, but right where you are right now.  I was reading through Genesis and how Isaac was traveling and God told him don't go down to Egypt because there was a famine in the land and he pitched his tent in the land of the Philistines.  And it says Isaac sowed and reaped an hundredfold in that same year.  And he waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.  He became so great that the people asked him to depart from them.  What's so supernatural about that, because he sowed and reaped an hundredfold with no water.  There was no rain and the Philistines stopped up the wells of his father Abraham after his death.  So, you could say God made a way out of no way.  And after he departed they came to him to make a covenant with him because they saw certainly that the Lord was with him.  They saw that the Lord was with him because they saw the goodness of God manifested in his life.  And God can do the same thing for you, and have people wonder how in the world did that happen.  The goodness of God can manifest in your situation at any given moment.
Even his son Jacob after he had deceived his father Isaac and stole his brother's blessing and his mother told him to flee to her brother's house unless his brother kills him.  And he fled and during his journey he fell asleep one night and had a dream where he saw a ladder reaching from earth to heaven and angels ascending and descending on it and the Lord stood above it and told him that he would be with him wherever he went and Jacob woke up and said, "Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not."  I know sometimes the way might get rough, but God is there.  And he will never leave you nor foresake you.  Put your trust in him and line yourself up with his word.  Think, believe, speak, and act in line with his word and people will say the same about you, "We saw certainly that the Lord was with you." (Taken from Genesis 26 & 27)
And if you want the assurance that God the father is with you I urge you to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  It's not hard all you have to do is believe God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10).  "Dear God I confess that I have sinned, but I receive what Jesus did for me on the cross.  He took my sins that I can be forgiven. And I believe that you raised him from the dead and I confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior."  Amen!

Are You Blessing Or Cursing Yourself

What are you saying about yourself and circumstances, because what you say determines whether you are blessing or cursing yourself. When God blessed Adam and Eve He blessed them saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth." When Jesus cursed the fig tree he said unto it, "No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever." And that's the same way you bless and curse, they both come out of your mouth. Your words determine whether you see blessings or curses. 1Peter 3:10 says, "For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." That is a principle, so you could say if you want to see blessings keep your tongue from speaking curses. Don't tell me what you say is not important, Proverbs 30:32 says, "If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thy hand upon thy mouth." Notice what he's saying, don't speak evil. The good and blessing you want to see speak it. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law and the redeemed are instructed to speak their redemption, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" (Psalm 107:2).

Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you death and life, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live." You choose death or life and blessing or cursing by your tongue. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21). Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My bretheren, these things ought not so be (James 3:10). Don't use the power of the tongue to speak death and curses. God instructs you to speak life and blessings, because He knows you will eat the fruit of your lips. That's why God told the people "Let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10). So what are you speaking- Everytime around this time of year I get sick, or I can never hold on to money. Why don't you put the word in your mouth and make your way prosperous, like God told Joshua (Joshua 1:8). Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying On this wise ye shall bless the children of Isreal, saying, unto them... (Numbers 6:23). Likewise, speak to and bless your finances, your body, and your family.

Always Agree With God

God is not a man that He should lie and there are benefits to agreeing with what He says. There is power in agreenemt. When you voice your agreement with God certain things take place.

1. You kill the root- The curse and all the works of the devil are rooted in the spiritual so to get rid of it or change it you have to attack it at the root. If you kill the root then the fruit has to die. And the word of God is a sword (Ephesians 6:17). So when you voice your agreement with the word you are cutting the roots of that evil in your life and at some point it will have to go.

2. You sow seeds- The word of God is seed (Luke 8:11). And your spirit is soil (Mark 4:26-28). And the word also performs as water or rain (Isaiah 55:10). So when you voice your agreement you plant and water seed and you will get a harvest. 1Peter 3:10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." Notice if you want to see good don't speak(sow) evil. Because when you say you sow "The word is night thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach" (Romans 10:8).

3. Faith comes- "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

4. Gives substance to your hope- "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives substance to your hope like an apple seed gives substance to an apple. That's why Jesus said several times "If you have faith as a seed... .

5. Your words accomplish- God said, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). So when your words are in line with his words then they accomplish.

6. You receive his will- When the angel told Mary she was going to have a baby she continued to ask questions. And it was only when she agreed with him that the angel left (Luke 1).

7. It establishes the word in your life- "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" (2Corinthians 13:1). So you establish the word in your life when you voice your agreement with God.

Those are just some of the reasons for agreeing with God. So, be patient for by faith and patience you inherit the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12).

It's Not Just Words But Power

God's word is not just words, but power. The same power that formed the earth is in The Bible. But when you refuse to put it on your lips all that power goes to waste. God said his word would not return to him void, but it shall accomplish what he pleases (Isaiah 55:11). Well, for it to accomplish what God pleases it has to have power. But notice it shall accomplish when it is returned to him. How is it returned to him? When you speak it you are returning his word to him. So every day you don't put the word of God on your lips you fail to put the power of God to work for you.

The same power that created the universe is capable of making your life just what God called for. But without the word on your lips it will not accomplish for you. The word of God is capable of creating a life of health, joy, and peace. God gave you his word which is his power and a free will. You take his power and create what you want in your life. If you are sick create healing in your body. The scripture "By whose stripes ye were healed" has enough power in it to heal any sickness. If you're lacking finances take the word and create prosperity. If you want success you create it in your life. Isn't that what God told Joshua "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success." Notice, the success he was to have was dependent on the word coming out of his mouth. Don't treat the word of God like it's just words, but power. Imagine how much better your life would be if you did what God said, keep his word in your mouth.

Speak the word and let it create for you. Let the word do it's job. It's capable of bringing into your life exactly what God has already called for. But it has to be on your lips to do it. Sometimes we see things in the natural, but not the spiritual. For instance, when you go into a dark room the first thing you do is flip the light switch. Failure to do so can cause you to stumble in darkness even with all the power needed to walk in light is right there. So likewise, failure to put the word on your lips can cause you to walk in sickness, poverty, and all other things God never intended for you to have even though you may know the word of God. But, failure to put the word on your lips keeps the power from working for you. The word of God is not just words, but power.

Loose Your Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Notice it says faith is the substance of things hoped for, in other words faith gives substance to what you hope for. Let me give you an example you will understand, everyone is familiar with a heating and cooling unit. If it is 80 degrees where you are and you want it to be 70 degrees, you set the thermostat on 70 degrees and that unit sends forth and releases the air(substance) that changes the temperature. But, notice that substance has to be loosed for it to change things and so does your faith. That unit is designed to change things and so are you. With the substance of faith in your heart you have the capacity to change things. For example, there was a woman with an issue of blood for 12 years. She did all she could do, she spent all her money, she saw all the doctors, but she was no better. She heard about Jesus and her chance was at hand, Jesus came walking by and she said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." She pressed her way through crowd and touched his garment and in an instant she was healed. And Jesus said, "Thy faith has made thee whole" (Mark 5:25-34).

Notice, one instance of loosing her faith changed her situation. Because loosed faith changes things. Jesus said it this way, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you" (Matthew 17:20). Notice if ye have faith ye shall say and there shall be a change. So if you are sick and all you do is speak sickness then you can't loose the substance that will change it. If you are broke and all you do is talk about how broke you are then you can't loose the substance that will change it. So instead of speaking the problem say what the word says about your problem, faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). And once you are built up in faith, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). It will be more natural for you to speak the answer than the problem. And God promised his word would not return to him void, but that it would accomplish (Isaiah 55:11). So, don't give up, be patient he that promised is faithful. That thing can change.

And the biggest change you can make with your faith is from being a child of the world to being a child of God. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). And as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God. So, if you would like to become a son of God say this simple prayer. Dear God I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that you raised him up from the dead and I confess now that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Amen

Taste And See The Lord Is Good

It is time for the children of God to be partakeers of his divine nature. When Adam sinned he disconnected from God and connected to Satan. He exchanged his nature of being righteous in exchange for the nature of sin. And everyone born after him was born with that sin nature. But, as soon as Adam sinned God had a plan to get things back. Just as you were born in sin God came up with a plan for man to be born again. In your sin nature you are connected to Satan and the things of that nature- the curse, sin, sickness, depression, poverty, fear. In your righteous nature you are connected to God and all the things of that nature- the blessing, health, prosperity, peace, faith. So as a born again christian you have a right to the life of Christ Jesus. Because of what Jesus did on the cross you can exchange the devils nature for the nature of God. Jesus said he came for you to have life and have it more abundantly.

Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches." You don't have a healthy, prosperous vine and poor, sick branches. In the sin nature you are do the wages of sin, death (Romans 6:23). But, in your righteous nature you are do the wages of righteousness, life (Romans 5:17). All the things of Adams nature got passed down so likewise all the things of Jesus are passed down to those with that nature(those that are in Christ). So his peace, faith, joy, health, wisdom are passed down when you are connected(the vine and branches). Jesus came to bring man God's way of life. And one of the biggest jobs is renewing you mind to the things of God. For by the renewing of your mind you are transformed from the things of the world into the things of God (Romans 12:2).

Do you know you have a right to be healed, delivered, prosperous, blessed. That's right I said you have a right to those things because the blood of Jesus paid for them. And what you have a right to you are free to receive. For example, you take a friend out to eat and you decide to pay for the buffet and they have all kinds of food laid out. And you both come back to the table and all they have is one piece of food, what's the first thing you say? That's all you want. Why, because you want them to partake of all that's laid out for them. As a matter of fact the more they take the better you feel. So imagine how Jesus feel, he died for you to be healed and you put up with sickness, he died for you to be prosperous and you put with lack, he died for you to be free and you keep putting up with that bondage. Healing, deliverance, prosperity, and blessing are all on the buffet, receive. So, how do you receive from God's buffet first you have to believe God's word. Second you have to get your mouth involved "A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth" (Proverbs 13:2). So, you are going to have to start speaking "By whose stripes I am healed" (2Peter 2:24), "My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19), "Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law" (Galatians 3:13). That's why the word says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" (Psalm 107:2). God invites you to taste and see that He is good (Psalm 34:8). What did you do to be a sinner, nothing. What do you do to be righteous, nothing, but receive Jesus as your Lord and saviour. Because it's all about what Jesus did. How do you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you believe God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10). Come and take your first taste and see that God is good.

Prayer: Dear Father I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross and that you raised him from the dead and I confess now that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Amen

The Mouth-Body Connection

It's time we make the connection concerning our mouth and our body. Because the Bible has a lot to say about the effects our words have on our body. Especially when our words are in line with God's words. In Proverbs 4:20-22 it says "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." That word health in hebrew is translated medicine, remedy, cure, deliverance so your mouth can be the deliverance or the cure for your body. So God's word in your mouth is medicine to your body. Proverbs 12:18 says, "But the tongue of the wise is health(medicine)." God's word is God's wisdom so a wise man is going to speak the word of God. So that God can do what He said He would do "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him."

In the 3rd chapter of James he gives an excellent discription of the power of the tongue. He says, "If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and also able to briddle the whole body." Notice the connection with the mouth and the body. Then he goes into how we control a horse by putting something in his mouth to turn his body and the right thing in your mouth will turn your body. He then goes into how a ship is controlled by a very small rudder wherever the one steering the ship turns it no matter how strong the winds. So your tongue even though it is small will turn you from sickness to healing no matter how fierce the sickness. So be careful what you speak about your body, stop talking about your old bones and how is only natural to loose your memory when you get up in age. This disease runs in our family. The Bible says God satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles (Psalms 103:5). It's your confession of the word that will bring healing as in Romans 10:10. Notice it says, "With the heart man believes unto rightousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" that word salvation in the greek is translated as healing. Your words are very important so make the connection of the mouth and body.

The Battle Is Not Yours

The battle is not yours it's the Lord's. But, He has to fight your battle through you. He has given you a weapon and it's up to you to use it. The weapon He has given you to use is his word (Ephesians 6:17). And it's powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword (Hebrews 4:12). In life you have a choice either you can fight the battles in life in your own strength or in the power of God.

Notice in Deuteronomy 7:1,2 it says, "When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater than thou: And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them...." Notice it says that the Lord was going to cast out the nations before them and deliver them before them, how was he going to do it. By Joshua following his instructions "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth" and as a result of him doing that it says that Joshua would make his way prosperous (Joshua 1:8). Joshua and the children of Isreal defeated seven nations greater and mightier than them with the sword of God's word.

In 1Samuel 17 a boy named David went up agianst a great man of war named Goliath while the armies of Isreal hid. But, David knew how to get the victory and it was going to have to be by his mouth. Saul even tried to put his sword on him and David turned it down. This battle was more than a battle with weapons, it was a battle of words. Notice that Goliath shouted some things at David and David responded with his own words. David won the battle with his words before he picked up a stone. Notice in verse 47 David said, "And all the assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands." The battle was the Lord's and He fought it with the words David spoke out of his mouth. In verse 50 it says David slew Goliath with no sword in his hand, that's because the sword was in his mouth and the sword in your mouth will always defeat a sword in the hand. So in every battle of life be sure you use your sword.
