Sometimes as you go through life you find yourself in times of trouble and you try everything you know to do, but let me make a suggestion, put the word on it. In Romans 10:6-8 Paul says, "But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is the word of faith which we preach." In other words you don't have to call Jesus back from the dead, but put the word on it. Put the word on that sickness and the word will do the job. In Proverbs 4:20-22 the scripture says to attend to his word, keep it in your eyes and ears, and keep it in the midst of your heart for it is life to those that find them and health to all their flesh. The word of God has power in it and when you put it in your heart(spirit) it releases the power that's in it. Like, for example when you feed your body, when the food enters into you the vitamins are extracted and distributed throughout your body. Well, when you feed your spirit the same things happens, the word of God is anointed and when it enters your spirit the anointing is released into your body. And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah 10:27).
Put the word on your problem. In Proverbs 12:6 it says, "The mouth of the upright will deliver them." Your mouth will deliver you if the word of God is in it. It's the word of God that will accomplish (Isaiah 55:11). In time of depression put the word on it for "A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth" (Proverbs 15:23). In times of worry put the word on it for "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles" (Proverbs 21:23). As you can see the word will not only effect your circumstances, but it will effect you mentally, physically, and spiritually. If you want your situation to turn for the better you are going to have to put the right words in your mouth. In James 3:4,5 he compares your tongue to the rudder of a ship, if you want to change where you are heading then you have to turn the rudder and if you want to change that situation you are going to have to put the right words in your mouth. God's word is quick(alive) and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). No matter how fierce the storms of life may be the word of God in your mouth spoken out of a heart of belief will change it (Mark 11:23).
